Description:
The role will include but not be limited to:
- Manage monthly, quarterly and annual reports, with commentary regarding key metrics
- Assist in preparing financial statements and audits in compliance with GAAP or relevant standards
- Assist with tax filing and statutory obligations per local regulations and deadlines
- Support financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis for business decisions
- Conduct financial modelling and scenario analysis for decision-making
- Contribute to ERP system enhancements through automation and software upgrades
- Assist with payroll and employee-related matters as needed
- Support the Head of Finance as required (ad hoc projects, etc)
- Liaise with internal teams (Investments and Treasury)
Requirements:
The successful applicant will either be directly from a Big-4 or mid-tier within audit or business services looking to step into commercial or alternatively someone who has already stepped out of a Chartered environment and worked within commerce who has a passion for this space. The ideal candidate will be intelligent, well-presented and communicated, have knowledge and/or a high level of interest in the Financial Services Sphere with a growth mindset, hands-on nature and ability to adapt and think outside the box. The successful candidate will carry a CA or equivalent qualification and a relevant tertiary degree qualification.
