Description:
- Develop and maintain project management frameworks and methodologies to ensure consistency across the organisation.
- Provide strategic oversight for project portfolios, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals, deliverables, and timelines.
- Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and addressing potential risks or issues.
- Lead and mentor the project management team to enhance their skills and capabilities.
- Facilitate resource allocation and budget management across multiple projects.
- Prepare and present reports on project performance to senior management.
- Support the continuous improvement of processes within the Technology department.
Requirements:
A successful PMO Manager should have:
- A strong background in project management, particularly within the technology department
- Proven ability to implement and manage PMO frameworks effectively
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills. This position will be leading a small team
- Experience in stakeholder engagement and delivering clear communication
- Adeptness at risk management and problem-solving in complex projects
- Formal qualifications in project management or a related field
- Proficiency with project management tools and software
- Experience with BPMN is greatly valued
