Description:
- Oversee the organisation's financial operations and reporting processes.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support organisational goals.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
- Manage budgeting and forecasting processes to optimise resource allocation.
- Provide leadership to the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and efficiency.
- Collaborate with senior management to align financial planning with strategic objectives.
- Prepare detailed financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor and assess financial risks, implementing mitigation strategies where necessary.
Requirements:
A successful Finance Director should have:
- A strong background in accounting and finance, ideally within the not-for-profit sector.
- Relevant qualifications such as a CPA or CA accreditation.
- Proven experience in financial management and strategic planning.
- Excellent knowledge of compliance requirements and financial legislation.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team effectively.
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
Conditions:
