The Business Development Manager responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing strategic plans to grow market share in the gelato FMCG sector.
- Providing technical support and specialist advise
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships to ensure repeat business and customer loyalty.
- Identify new business opportunities and target potential clients to increase sales.
- Manage the sales pipeline and ensure effective tracking of leads and conversions.
- Deliver presentations and proposals to prospective clients in a professional manner.
- Analyse market trends to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance and provide insights for improvement.
Requirements:
A successful Business Development Manager should have:
- Proven experience in gelato, pastry, or bakery with hands on technical expertise
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- A proactive and results-oriented mindset.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- A valid driver's licence, as travel within Sydney and interstate is required.
