Description:

  • Manage end-to-end delivery of construction projects, ensuring time lines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external contractors to align project objectives and expectations.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, risk assessments, and progress reports.
  • Oversee procurement of materials and services in line with project requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, safety standards, and regulations.
  • Monitor and manage project budgets, identifying cost-saving opportunities where possible.
  • Coordinate site inspections and address any issues that may arise during the construction process.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on project progress and outcomes.

Requirements:

A successful Construction Project Manager should have:

  • Proven experience managing construction projects of food & beverage facilities, preferably in the leisure, travel, and tourism industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including contractors and senior management.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • A results-driven mindset with a focus on meeting deadlines and achieving objectives.
  • Relevant qualifications in construction management, engineering, or a related field.

Conditions:

  • Competitive salary package in the range of $150,000 to $160,000, plus superannuation.
