Description:
- Manage end-to-end delivery of construction projects, ensuring time lines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external contractors to align project objectives and expectations.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, risk assessments, and progress reports.
- Oversee procurement of materials and services in line with project requirements.
- Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, safety standards, and regulations.
- Monitor and manage project budgets, identifying cost-saving opportunities where possible.
- Coordinate site inspections and address any issues that may arise during the construction process.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on project progress and outcomes.
Requirements:
A successful Construction Project Manager should have:
- Proven experience managing construction projects of food & beverage facilities, preferably in the leisure, travel, and tourism industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent project management and organisational skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including contractors and senior management.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
- A results-driven mindset with a focus on meeting deadlines and achieving objectives.
- Relevant qualifications in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
