Financial Accountant

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join our expanding Group Finance team. This newly created role reflects the continued growth of our business and offers an exciting opportunity for a qualified accountant to build their career in the property and funds management sector.

As part of our dynamic finance function, you’ll play a key role in maintaining the integrity of financial reporting, supporting business performance through insightful analysis, and driving operational excellence across our finance operations.

About the Role

• 
  
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
  
• Post end-of-month journals and balance sheet reconciliations for both corporate and fund entities
  
• Manage accounts payable processes for corporate and private entities
  
• Prepare and post intercompany recharge journals and ensure monthly loan clearances
  
• Oversee corporate card management including approvals, cancellations, and spend limits
  
• Review financial statements prepared by external providers and liaise with auditors
  
• Roll forward cashflow forecasts for all funds
  
• Prepare monthly corporate card summary reports and fund management packs
  
• Run MRI reports for joint venture deliverables
  
• Support finance systems and process improvements to enhance efficiency
  
• Foster strong stakeholder relationships and promote financial excellence
  
  

About You

• 
  
• CA/CPA qualified (or equivalent)
  
• Experience in financial accounting, ideally in property, funds management or related sectors
  
• Skilled in ERP systems and comfortable driving systems/process change
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
  
• Excellent time management and ability to meet tight deadlines
  
• Confident communicator with strong presentation skills
  
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  
  

This role is based at our brand-new Head Office in Double Bay reporting directly to the Finance Manager, Corporate along with supporting the Senior Finance Manager, Funds.
