The Academy and Learning Branch supports frontline policing and corporate operations of SAPOL through the provision of high-quality training and education for SAPOL employees at all stages of their career.
The Project Officer, Workforce Scheduling is accountable to the Officer in Charge Academy and Learning for the provision of statistical data and development of information reports to inform and plan work related activities, rostering requirements and to identify opportunities for the improvement of business practices. The Project Officer, Workforce Scheduling will undertake project and administrative duties to ensure a structured and planned approach to the efficient resourcing of Academy and Learning.
The role will provide timely, accurate and pro-active advice and support on a broad range of issues and priorities including research, data collection and the preparation of reports and correspondence. The role will be responsible for systems, processes and or practices associated with the scheduling of physical and human resources more broadly across the Academy and Learning operations. The Project Officer, Workforce Scheduling is also required to assist the Officer in Charge of the Academy and Learning with the administrative activities of the area. This includes workforce rostering and planning, vacancy management, recruitment, absence management, employment contracts and other human resource related activities.

- The incumbent may be assigned to other duties at this remuneration level or equivalent.
- Some out of hours work and intra/interstate travel may be required.
- The incumbent is required to participate in SAPOL’s iEngage program.
Salary
ASO4 - $76,561 - $80,256 per annum.
