Site Manager (Impound) - Multiple Positions

The Site Manager - Impound is accountable to the Manager, Contracts, Impound and Armoury Unit for the efficient and effective site operations (located at either the northern or southern impound facility), management and the storage and disposal of impounded vehicles. The Site Manager - Impound is responsible for the effective planning, implementation and monitoring of all day-to-day operations. The role ensures high quality customer service and a high performing team, continuity of operations, oversight of work health safety procedures onsite.

The Contracts, Impound and Armoury Unit within SAPOL’s Physical Assets Services Branch (PASB) is responsible for management and oversight of SAPOL’s asset related contracts. The Unit is also accountable for managing effective operations in support of vehicles seizures under Criminal Law (Clamping, Impounding and Forfeiture) Act 2007, and management of SAPOL’s metropolitan and regional Impound facilities and Armoury functions.

PASB is comprised of seven units: Capital Projects Unit, Major Projects Unit, Strategic Infrastructure Unit, Contracts, Impound & Armoury Unit, Strategic Operations: Fleet & Property, Facilities Management Unit, and Business Unit. Special Conditions

• The incumbent must hold a current Australian work eligibility status and will be subject to a criminal history check.
• The incumbent may be assigned to other duties at this remuneration level or equivalent.
• Some out of hours work and intra/interstate travel may be required.
• The incumbent is required to participate in SAPOL’s iEngage program.

Requirements

• A current unencumbered driver’s licence is required.

Salary
ASO5 - $85,790 - $95,413 per annum.
