Description:

APC Technology is looking for an experienced Receptionist/ Administration Assistant to become an integral part of our compact office team.

Casual position with prospect of full-time employment.

For more than 40 years APC Technology has designed and manufactured rugged electronic solutions that keep Defence, Mining and industrial operations running—no matter the conditions. With 60 staff at our Adelaide headquarters, we combine local engineering with global reach.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests and contractors as the face of the company.

  • Handling correspondence, including emails and phone calls.

  • Preparing reports, presentations and other confidential documents as required.

  • Managing databases and filing systems.

  • Assisting the Office Manager with administration tasks.

  • Providing administrative cover for the Office Manager during leave.

  • Assisting with internal and external events and conferences.

  • Assist with data entry tasks associated with inter departmental activities.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

  • Strong organisation and time management skills.

  • Experience working with senior levels of management.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy.

  • The ability to effectively prioritise competing tasks during challenging periods.

Desirable

  • SharePoint experience.

  • Previous experience within a Defence, Construction or Manufacturing industry environment.
