About the Position
As the Digital Marketing Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a pivotal role in the development, execution, and optimisation of digital marketing initiatives to support student recruitment, brand awareness, and stakeholder engagement. This position is responsible for managing digital marketing campaigns, reporting on marketing performance, and ensuring the smooth operation of marketing activities across digital platforms.

Working collaboratively with internal teams, faculties, TAFE, and external partners, the Digital Marketing Officer contributes to increasing student engagement and acquisition through data-driven digital strategies, content creation, media planning, and campaign performance tracking.

About You
To be successful, you will require:

  • Proven experience in leading and executing successful digital marketing campaigns across multiple platforms
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights
  • Knowledge of digital advertising platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, and LinkedIn Campaign Manager.
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor content for digital channels and diverse audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects and collaborate effectively across teams
  • Strong project management and budgeting skills, with experience using analytics to evaluate and improve performance
  • In-depth knowledge of social media advertising, SEM, SEO, email marketing, and digital analytics
  • Proven technical skills with Microsoft Office (including Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and digital platforms (including Google AdWords, Meta Business Suite, and Sprout Social or similar)

Desirable competencies

  • Knowledge of marketing systems and tools, such as CRM platforms, marketing automation, Google Analytics, and web CMS.
  • An understanding of the higher education sector, student recruitment cycles, and digital marketing within tertiary institutions.

Remuneration
Appointment to this role will be at Professional Employee Level 6-7. The base salary will be in the range of $86,629 - $102,606 per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $101,355 - $120,049 per annum, including 17% superannuation.
