THE ROLE
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the workshop, including scheduling, assigning tasks, and monitoring progressEngage in daily production and pre-start meetingsProvide hands-on support to the blue-collar team as needed, fostering a collaborative and productive work environmentProvide leadership and direction to workshop staff by offering ongoing training & supportEnsure all work complies with quality standards by implementing checks and addressing any defects or concernsOptimise the use of resources, including labour, equipment, and materials, to ensure efficient operationsOversee the upkeep and servicing of workshop equipmentPrepare reports on workshop performanceEstablish maintenance plans and prioritise workloadReview and interpret work packsLiaise with the Workshop CheckerPromote a cooperative and positive work environment that encourages teamwork and boosts staff morale
ABOUT YOU
Trade Certificate5 years minimum supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment (Oil & Gas experience is preferred)Verbal and written communication skillsExperience working within the Microsoft officeInterpret complex isometrics, fabrication drawings and welding proceduresAbility to comprehend and interpret the detailed timelines, tasks, and activities associated with workshops and construction/project sites
