We are seeking an experienced Finance and Payroll Officer to join a supportive and collaborative finance team. Working closely with the rest of the team, you will handle the daily finance functions and process payroll in a close-knit team of 3 Finance/Payroll Officers.

Description
- Permanent, part-time position (20-32 hours per week).
- Working in a team of 7, you will be supporting the finance team in delivering accurate and timely financial services, as well as payroll processing.
- Payroll: Handling weekly payroll as a team of 3.
- Financial Processing: Invoices, reconciliations and accounts receivable.
- Compliance & Accuracy: Ensure alignment with policies, audit and expense coding.
- Operational Support: Provide cover for key financial functions and assist with team training.
- Cultural & Professional Standards: Deliver respectful service while maintaining financial integrity.
Profile
- A finance background with experience in a similar role such as Finance Officer, Bookkeeper, Accounts Officer.
- Prior handling of payroll.
- Experience working for a non-profit would be advantageous, particularly experience in an Aboriginal Corporation.
- Experience using Xero desirable but not essential.
