The Finance Internship Program includes a 12-week internship placement designed to give you hands-on work experience in an Australian workplace.

  If you’re an international or local student studying finance at an Australian university, this internship program will help you gain academic credit and work experience as you develop your practical finance skills.
• Recent Graduates
  If you’ve recently graduated or your degree does not require an internship, you can still enrol in the program and combine your work experience placement with an accredited Work Integrated Learning (WIL) program to develop your skills and strengthen your work-readiness.

Your internship placement will be matched with your internship needs and requirements, including start date, location, and total duration. Example host companies include:

• A private investment firm focusing on the technology and travel industries
• A property and project management company
• A leading mortgage business

Your tasks will vary depending on the host company, but may include:

• Reviewing financial data, including profit margins, labour costs, and revenue tracking.
• Assisting with invoice reconciliation and preparing financial reports for management.
• Supporting the finance team in budget preparation, forecasting, and cost analysis.
• Conducting competitor research and assisting with investment and financial market analysis.
