Under the guidance of AIR6500 Program Managers, your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating and facilitating program meetings, ensuring stakeholder contributions are timely and complete.
- Supporting process improvement initiatives across the program.
- Contributing to change, risk, and opportunity management activities.
- Assisting in the development and maintenance of program metrics to monitor progress and performance.
- Supporting project performance monitoring and reporting in line with approved plans and budget requirements.

We're seeking a driven and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our team supporting the AIR6500 program — a critical capability initiative shaping the future of Australia's Defence systems.
To be successful you will bring:
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to communicate with influence and collaborate across all levels of an organisation.
- A solution-focused mindset with a proactive approach to work tasks and challenges.
- The ability to apply newly learned skills effectively and a clear willingness and desire to grow into a formal project management role.
- Experience in a similar coordination or small-scale project management role.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate tasks and activities across a team of professionals.
- Experience working across internal departments to deliver high-quality outcomes.
While not mandatory, experience in the following areas will be highly regarded:
- Prior exposure to the Australian Defence industry and the ASDEFCON framework.
- Working knowledge of Risk, Issue and Opportunity management, ISO9001 quality systems, and Earned Value Management (EVM).
- Understanding of PRINCE2 or PMBOK project management methodologies.
- Familiarity with import/export regulations.
- Experience using Open Plan Professional and/or Microsoft Project.
