About the Role
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Estimator/Project Manager is responsible for the successful delivery and estimation of grain storage construction projects, including silos and sheds. This position manages end-to-end project delivery while providing accurate cost estimates to support tendering, budgeting, and business development efforts.
Skills and Experience
The successful candidate must have proven experience in estimating and project management, preferably within the grain storage or industrial construction industry. Ahrens is seeking an experienced Estimator/Project Manager with excellent negotiation and communication skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple sites and regional projects. This role requires strong technical knowledge and understanding, particularly in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and tender documentation.
