Role Overview:
Our client list is growing! So we’re on the hunt for an absolute gun social media marketing co-ordinator to join our team in Fremantle.
Our ideal candidate has 1-3 years’ experience working in a social media marketing role - writing irresistible copy, scheduling posts and helping to create content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn.
Working alongside our communications lead, content strategist and account managers, you will be responsible for keeping our client’s organic channels humming and our internal workflows smooth. With plenty of room to grow and an exec team who want to see your career progress, this junior role is a chance to learn from some of the best marketing minds in the industry and work with an incredible portfolio of hospitality, events and tourism clients who expect work that delivers measurable outcomes and will look to you for guidance on social media best practices.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Organic Socials:Create monthly social media calendars for clients Schedule organic content across multi-channel client portfoliosWork with account managers to write compelling, purpose-driven copy that aligns with each brand's tone of voice and includes CTA’s where appropriateStay up to date with best practices, compliance and security requirements for each channelWork with content strategist and account managers on channel and content strategy
Content Creation & Shoot Coordination:Schedule, coordinate and assist on content shoots, working with talent and videographers/photographers to produce creative work to the client or account manager’s briefConcept, shoot & edit LoFi content/TTs/reels - training, equipment and software are provided
Requirements:1-3 years’ experience in a social media marketing role for a brand/business or in an agencyBrilliant copywriting skills - you can write to tell stories, you can write to sell products, and you know the difference between the two stylesProficiency in TikTok and Instagram reels content creation & editing across a range of editing platforms Familiarity with social media analytics and management toolsStrong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects Strong time management skillsComfortable working behind and in front of the cameraPassion for creative content and a constant need to learn new skills
Skills & techHigh level experience with Creative Cloud, Canva, Scheduling tools (Sprout & Later), TikTok and Reels editing tools Experience using Monday[dot]com as a project management tool - (preferred but not required)Degree in marketing, media, communications or graphic design (preferred but not required)
