These roles provide an excellent opportunity to contribute to essential public services while gaining valuable exposure to government operations.
We are especially interested in candidates with experience in industrial sectors such as engineering, construction, or infrastructure, who can bring a practical mindset and proactive approach to administrative support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-level administrative support to operational teams
- Coordinate and monitor service requests, ensuring timely updates and completion
- Attend meetings, take accurate minutes, and manage related documentation
- Draft clear, concise documents in line with council standards and protocols
- Maintain general office organisation and manage supplies/materials efficiently
- Previous experience in Local Government or similar operational settings (highly regarded)
- Strong administrative skills with excellent attention to detail
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication
- Ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team environment
- Strong time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and adaptability to internal systems
- Confident managing multiple priorities while delivering high-quality outcomes
