About the opportunity
There are currently two (2) full-time, fixed term (ending 30 June 2029) position/s with the possibility of extension and/or permanency available for immediate filling. The positions will be located in Perth. Regional locations will be considered.
We currently have the following positions available:

One (1) Level 5 Project Officer

One (1) Level 6 Senior Project Officer
This team assists in the delivery of the Processing Capacity grants as part of the Federal governments phase out of live sheep exports transition package. This includes design, development, implementation and administration of the program to support transition of the sheep industry.
As a Project Officer , you will contribute to the development and implementation of a range of projects. Among other duties, Project Officers conduct research, build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, and prepare reports and briefings.
To be successful for this role, you will have:

Experience in project and/or grant management, with SmartyGrants experience desirable

Experience or understanding of agribusinesses and sheep industry is desirable

Strong stakeholder engagement skills in a challenging environment

As a Senior Project Officer , you will oversee less complex projects and assist in the coordination of more complex projects. Among other duties, Senior Project Officers coordinate and conduct research, contribute to the development and implementation of a range of projects, and build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
