Orontide is a leading Western Australian company providing specialist engineering, fabrication, preservation, and integrity maintenance services to the Oil & Gas, Mining, Naval Defence, Marine and Commercial Industries.
About the Role
As a result of the company's continued growth, an excellent opportunity has become available for a Graduate/Project Engineer to join our Industrial Services business unit in a 6-Month Fixed Term capacity . This role reports directly to the Project Coordinator.
Position Objectives:

Actively support the Project Coordinator, Supervisors, Leading hands and tradespersons to achieve the required goals.

Work closely with project team to compile quotes

Compile reports and documentation

Obtain supplier pricing for material and services

Liaise with clients, both internal and external to ensure requirements are fully understood.

Support the coordination of projects.

Drive a positive safety culture within all areas of influence.

Provide engineering assistance

Oversee maintenance, certification and compliance on a fleet of mobile and fixed plant equipment.

Ensure task and project documentation is completed efficiently and effectively.
To be successful for this position, you must possess the following:
-
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.

Analytical and problem-solving skills.
-
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-
Be highly motivated and able to work unsupervised.

Extensive experience in project coordination.
-
Prefer someone with basic estimation knowledge
-
Basic understanding of welding and welding procedures (preferred)

Experience in industrial services and fabric maintenance.
-
Hold or willing to obtain a National Police Clearance
-
NACE CIP Level 1 or above (desirable)
