Your new role

As a senior leader, you’ll help drive divisional success by fostering a collaborative and accountable culture with your peers, while leading a growing portfolio of services that deliver real impact, including:

  • Therapeutic services for children, young people and families
  • Homelessness programs and assertive outreach
  • Mental health, alcohol and other drug supports, and broader community services

You’ll also play a key role in the rollout and growth of new initiatives like Ruby’s – an innovative early intervention accommodation program for young people at risk of homelessness.

This role partners closely with senior leaders and program managers to deliver high-quality, trauma-informed services while building strong local partnerships, increasing community impact, and leading a committed, values-aligned team.

Your skills and experience

You're a seasoned strategic and operational leader with experience across complex community service settings and a passion for connected, consumer-centred care. You're known for your responsiveness and ability to think differently, you challenge the status quo to create stronger consumer outcomes.

You will also bring with you:

  • Proven track record in leading and growing diverse and complex service portfolios across youth, homelessness, mental health or similar.
  • Financial and people management expertise, and a strong understanding of quality and risk frameworks.
  • A collaborative and accountable leadership style – with the ability to influence, innovate and adapt.
  • A deep understanding of local needs, service integration, and strategic partnerships.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in human/community services and a current valid driver’s license.
