About the role

We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented People & Culture Coordinator to join our growing People, Strategy & Brand team based in Brisbane.

Reporting to the Culture & Capability Manager, this role plays a key part in coordinating all aspects of the employee lifecycle, supporting the day-to-day operations of our HR function and contributing to initiatives that enhance the employee experience. You’ll enjoy a dynamic mix of tasks, learning a range of HR skills that will provide an excellent foundation for your career as part of a national business.

You’ll work closely with the People & Culture Business Partner and the broader team to ensure our people processes are seamless, compliant, and aligned with MNG’s values and strategic goals.

What you bring to the table

We’re looking for someone who’s got a good handle on the fundamentals, ideally with 1–2 years of HR or corporate admin experience. As part of this role, you will be responsible for;

  • Providing high quality HR support across the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, data entry, documentation, training and offboarding.
  • Maintaining employee data and records using our internal systems.
  • Supporting the delivery of People & Culture programs, including engagement and wellbeing initiatives.
  • Monitoring the HR inbox and assist with employee queries, escalating as needed.
  • Coordinating learning and development activities.
  • Assisting with reporting, data entry and compliance tracking.
  • Assisting with and coordinating local in-house office events and event planning.
  • Supporting the Project Admin team as required.

Skills And Experiences

You will also have

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business or currently undertaking
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • The ability to prioritise competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and comfort navigating internal systems
