With continued growth across our operations, we are now looking for a skilled and reliable Welder/Fabricator to join our team at our Stapylton facility. About the role:
As a Welder/Fabricator at Kyokuto Australia, you’ll work on a variety of truck body parts including mixers and tipper bodies , as well as conduct repair and fabrication work on vehicles in our service department.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform high-quality welding and fabrication work on truck body parts, including mixer drums, tipper bodies, subframes , and other structural components. This includes working from drawings or templates to ensure precision and durability in every job.

Carry out MIG and TIG welding on both steel and aluminium parts. This may involve cutting, shaping, grinding, and joining materials according to project specifications. A strong understanding of materials and welding techniques is essential.

Assist with repair, maintenance, and modification work on a variety of heavy vehicles and equipment. This includes diagnosing issues, replacing or fabricating damaged parts, and ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards.

Take responsibility for keeping the workshop clean, safe, and well-organized . This includes managing tools and equipment, disposing of scrap materials appropriately, and maintaining a tidy work environment that supports efficiency and safety for the whole team.
Requirements:

Previous experience in welding/fabrication or a similar trade

Mechanical assembly experience

Forklift license

Valid driver's license

Own basic hand tools

Strong teamwork and communication skills

Reliable, honest, and proactive work ethic
