Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor / Project Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project costs, coordinating administrative tasks, and ensuring smooth project execution.
Key Responsibilities

Assist in planning, execution and close-out of projects

Preparation and submission of project documentation

Prepare inspection test plan (ITP’s) and oversee quality control efficiently to ensure works adhere to specification

Prepare reports for monthly progress claims (NGERS, Green Star, Training, etc)

Monitor project program, procurement and construction milestones

Site mobilisation and associated logistics
-
Work closely onsite with the project team including Operations Manager, Construction Manager, Project Coordinators, Supervisors, Site Staff, Contract Administrator, Project Engineers and external clients/stakeholders

WHS and risk management in accordance with quality, WHS and environmental obligations

Liaise and manage subcontractors, suppliers and consultants

Assist with tender compilation and submission

Assist Contract Administrator with Progress Claim submission and other contract management duties

Review construction plans and prepare quantity requirements

Review project related costs, as well as supplier contracts to ensure the best deals

Preparing reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessment, and other documents

Keep track of materials and ordering more when required

Document any changes in design and update budgets

Travel from the office to various sites as required
About You

Previous experience in Construction Industry in similar roles

Proficient in Microsoft Office suite

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings

Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills

Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities

Current Driver's License and transport
This person will be a committed project professional who has a tertiary qualification or relevant project management experience. Must be able to establish close working relationships at all levels of the business, as well as our clients, external stakeholders and regulatory bodies. You will be responsible for tracking of project deliverables, including on site management, programming, procurement, scheduling and monitoring costs.
Hours of Work: Typically, Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:00pm.
