About the Role

At Strait Link, as Sales Account Manager, you will play a key role in driving growth within our Industry. You’ll identify new business opportunities, design innovative solutions, and work closely with clients and internal teams to ensure success. This role offers the chance to make a significant impact on Strait Link’s market presence while contributing to exciting, fast-paced projects. Being a direct face to face sales role, engaging in B2B transactions and accounts, the role needs someone with significant experience in the Sales area.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Protect and grow the existent portfolio of account's
  • Manage and develop key relationships across portfolio
  • Identify and grow share of wallet opportunities
  • Ability to identify and secure new business opportunities within your market

  • You’re a relationship-driven professional who understands the fast-paced, high-stakes nature of logistics and transport.
  • You know how to build trust with customers and internal teams alike and you’re great at keeping everyone aligned.
  • You thrive in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment and remain calm and solution-focused under pressure.
  • You understand the operational realities of freight, transport, and warehousing, and can translate customer needs into practical, deliverable solutions.
  • You’re commercially minded — you spot growth opportunities, negotiate confidently, and focus on long-term value.
  • You’re organised, responsive, and detail-oriented — you follow through and make things happen.
  • You’re proactive and resilient with issues and see service failures as opportunities to strengthen relationships.
  • You enjoy being the “go-to” person — reliable, knowledgeable, and always one step ahead
  • You’re confident using systems and data to monitor performance, report on results, and drive continuous improvement
  • You have minimum 3 years' experience working in a sales role with, ideally, a Transport and Logistics background
