About the Role
We are currently seeking a motivated AO3/1 Maintenance Support Officer to join the team on a temporary, full-time basis. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for tenants and contractors, managing maintenance requests for government housing properties. Your customer service, multitasking, and problem-solving skills will be key in ensuring efficient and responsive service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls and assist customers with maintenance enquiries.
- Arrange responsive maintenance services for government housing properties.
- Use call centre software, scripts, and tools appropriately.
- Engage with callers to clarify information and de-escalate challenging conversations.
- Build positive working relationships with both customers and contractors.
- Meet or exceed call centre performance metrics.
- Maintain accurate records using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Teams.
To Be Successful You Must Have
- Previous call centre or high-volume customer service experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to multitask and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective time management and sound decision-making abilities.
- Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
