Description:
Iolar Operational Services (IOS) is seeking to engage an individual to work as a plant operator within the Western Downs Region. IOS manages and operates the Chinchilla, Miles and Dalby waste recovery centres on behalf of Council.
Preferred skills include:
- Competency / ticket to operate backhoe required
- Capability to work outside & undertake labouring and gardening activities
- Waste management experience desirable.
- Workplace Health and Safety knowledge
- Computer/tablet and mobile phone literate
- Good customer service and experience with dealing with challenging situations.
- Able to work as a team or on own
Location: Working predominantly at Chinchilla and Miles. (Dalby as required)
Job Type: Casual.
Days of Work : up to 4 days per week including weekends.
Hours of Work: up to 6 to 8 hours / day
Pay Rates: Starting from: $ 37.66/hr with the weekend rate starting from $48.21, Rates in accordance with the Waste Management Award and relevant classification.)

Expected hours: 24 – 32 per week
