This role will form part of the Testing & Software Team that provides specialist design, development, configuration, testing, defect resolution and support services to the program. You will be responsible for undertaking the development, verification, uplift and maintenance of the numerous displays required to facilitate the multiple stages of testing activities and, ultimately, for "Go Live".

If you're a detail-oriented UI professional with a background in real-time data systems and enjoy working in collaborative, technical environments, this role is for you.

This is a 12 month initial contract commencing August 1st

About the role:

  • Develop and implement schematic diagrams, dashboards, and tabular views using Aspentech Monarch native display building applications for the environment.
  • Identify, triage, and manually resolve display defects and conversion issues, ensuring accuracy and usability.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and system operators to ensure displays meet operational and business requirements.
  • Apply and maintain Company Display Standards, including colour, layout, and functional guidelines.
  • Support testing, feedback gathering, documentation, and display training activities throughout the program lifecycle.

About you:

  • Tertiary qualification in IT, Engineering, Technical Communication, or equivalent experience in UI design.
  • Experience with SCADA systems and real-time data visualisation, ideally in energy or utilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and capability in defect resolution, documentation, and display consistency.
  • Skilled in using Confluence, Jira, and the Microsoft Office suite; experience with accessibility standards is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional technical team, managing multiple priorities effectively.
