The Salary range is currently $43.16 to $54.45 per hour. Hourly rate based on experience.

What You’ll Do
As our Physiotherapist at Clive Burdeu Residential Aged Care, you’ll be more than a clinician—you’ll be a trusted partner in our residents’ health journeys. Working closely with a multidisciplinary team, you’ll help older Australians maintain their independence, mobility, and dignity through compassionate, evidence-based care.
In this part-time role you will have a minimum of 32 hours per fortnight. You’ll enjoy the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with residents and staff alike, while contributing to a positive and supportive care environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering personalised physiotherapy services tailored to each resident’s needs, goals, and care plans, in collaboration with nursing and allied health teams.
- Developing and maintaining comprehensive physiotherapy care plans that reflect assessment findings, treatment goals, and progress, ensuring alignment with best practice and aged care standards.
- Participating in case conferences and multidisciplinary reviews to ensure holistic, resident-centred care.
- Leading and supporting manual handling programs, including training staff in safe and effective techniques, and modelling best practice in daily operations.
- Maintaining physiotherapy equipment to ensure safety, functionality, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Staying current with aged care physiotherapy trends, participating in ongoing professional development, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the service.
- Promoting a culture of safety, quality, and innovation, aligned with Churches of Christ’s mission and values.

About You
You are a compassionate and skilled physiotherapist who thrives in a collaborative, resident-focused environment. You bring a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and a genuine passion for improving the lives of older Australians.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Current registration with AHPRA as a qualified Physiotherapist.
- Minimum two years’ experience in physiotherapy (experience in aged care is highly regarded).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents, families, and colleagues.
- A commitment to holistic, person-centred care, and alignment with the mission and values of Churches of Christ.
- Intermediate computer skills, including the ability to use clinical documentation systems and Microsoft Office applications
Willingness to obtain or provide the following clearances:
- National Police Check
- Influenza and COVID-19 vaccinations (as per current health directives)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (if required)
