YMCA Mango Hill are seeking a dedicated Cleaner on a Casual Basis to join our team located in Mango Hill
About The Role
As a Cleaner, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our gym facility. Your responsibilities will include:
Performing cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping and restroom cleaning to ensure the facility's cleanliness and hygiene standards are metStocking and replenishing supplies in designated areas, including restrooms, fitness studios, and common spacesEmptying rubbish receptacles and ensuring proper waste disposal procedures are followedConducting routine inspections to identify areas that require attention and addressing cleaning needs promptlyAssisting with minor maintenance activities, such as reporting issues or performing basic repairs as neededCollaborating with the team to maintain a safe and organized environment for both staff and gym members
Am I a good match?
Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred but not requiredStrong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standardsEffective communication skills and the ability to work as part of a teamBasic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment usagePhysical stamina and the ability to perform tasks that involve bending, lifting and standing for extended periods
