  • Interpret survey data, planning overlays, and terrain information for design feasibility.
  • Coordinate with surveyors and field teams to confirm design inputs.
  • Integrate DBYD (Dial

  • Evaluate construction materials and site conditions to ensure suitability for telecommunications infrastructure, including reviewing product datasheets, installation practices, and on-site readiness to ensure compliance with NBN Co and Telstra standards.
  • Liaise with project managers, engineers, developers, local councils, and utility authorities.
  • Attend site walkouts or review survey outputs to validate field conditions and design feasibility.
  • Prepare, review, and manage design sets, redline markups, as-builts, and submission packages (DC and PC).
  • Maintain drawing registers, version control, and proper document management.
  • Identify conflicts such as existing utilities, trees, or access restrictions.
  • Recommend practical rerouting options or adjustments to avoid future service clashes.
  • Conduct comprehensive site analysis to determine the optimal location for network infrastructure deployment and plan associated civil works accordingly.

Review, update, and finalize network design plans based on site findings, ensuring alignment with project requirements and industry standards. Submit the updated design documentation to the relevant service provider for approval and future implementation. Other Duties

  • Support construction teams with technical clarifications and updated designs.
  • Assist in material take-offs and basic cost estimation.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for drafting standards and templates.
