The Role
Reporting to the Senior Qld Site Coordinator, the Site Coordinator is responsible for the management and delivery of site-specific corporate, property and accommodation services.
Site Coordinators will manage and support multiple DEWR locations locally and remotely, including agnostic staff, manage accommodation plans, onboard and offboard staff, manage site equipment, assets, building passes, simple procurement and be involved in WHS and Emergency Management at the site.
Skills and Capabilities
We are seeking an individual with the following skills and capabilities:

  • Ability to build rapport and engage with a range of stakeholders, resolve moderately complex issues. Including liaising with Central & North Qld Regional Manager, IT, Property, Service Desk, building managers and staff.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to provide clear and accurate advice to a wide range of stakeholders; Maintaining a register of staff key contacts.
  • Ability to manage and apply WHS policies and procedures onsite.
  • Contribute to ideas and identify opportunities to improve the efficiency of business processes; with the ability to be flexible and adapt to change.
  • Organise and promote local and nationally driven events that support a positive DEWR culture, ensuring local and remote staff are included in events.
  • Ability to apply good judgement to identify critical issues, action accordingly or escalate as appropriate. Make decisions within defined parameters and ability to prioritise workload.
  • Ability to manage small projects and competing priorities.
The Opportunity
This position is available to Ongoing Department of Employment and Workplace Relations and/or APS employees as a temporary transfer at level and/or a temporary performance (Acting) opportunity for a period of 8 months.
Qualifications and Education
  • Desirable – facilities management
  • Current vehicle licence
Eligibility
Our successful candidate will need to hold a valid Baseline clearance to undertake the role.
