About the role
Corjay Automotive is looking for an experienced Automotive Electrician to join our skilled team in Lockleys, SA. As a full-time Automotive Electrician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing and maintaining the electrical and electronic systems of a wide range of vehicles. What you'll be doing
- Performing comprehensive vehicle electrical system diagnostics and troubleshooting
- Repairing or replacing faulty electrical components and wiring
- Programming, calibrating and testing electronic control units and modules
- Undertaking scheduled electrical maintenance on vehicles
- Documenting all work completed and maintaining detailed records
- Providing excellent customer service and advising clients on electrical issues
- Working collaboratively with the wider automotive service team
What we're looking for
- Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Qualified Automotive Electrician
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and electrical test instruments
- Knowledge of automotive electronic systems, including body electronics, engine management and vehicle network communications
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to high quality standards
- Good customer service skills and ability to communicate technical information effectively
- A current driver's licence and your own tools
