About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and technically skilled individual to join our team as a Technical Officer (TGO1) . In this role, you will contribute to a range of technical activities, either independently or as part of a team, using your applied knowledge and hands-on experience. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality support across various operational and project-based tasks, following standardised procedures to ensure consistency, accuracy, and efficiency.
As part of your duties, you will participate in technical project work, applying practical skills and expertise gained through experience. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build their career in a collaborative environment that values precision, problem-solving, and continuous learning. You’ll be supported in developing your technical capabilities while contributing meaningfully to essential laboratory or operational services.

Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Proven capacity to manage variable workloads, prioritise tasks, and consistently meet deadlines with a high standard of accuracy.

Experience in general laboratory settings and a sound understanding of basic scientific concepts, laboratory practices, and WHS requirements.

Confident in using various computer programs, with excellent numerical, data entry, and problem-solving skills.
