The Wealth and Private (W&P) team resides within RBS. The purpose of the W&P business is to deliver propositions that help our High Net Worth and everyday Australian customers to grow, manage and protect their wealth.
Your Impact:
The role will provide dedicated support to the Wealth and Private (W&P) Domain. The W&P Domain is responsible for Private Banking and Advice, delivering on our partnership arrangements with AIA, Hollard and Colonial First State (CFS) as well as a guidance & investing proposition for everyday Australians.
As a member of our team you will be responsible for supporting the Private Banking and Advice team your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the business in the development of risk strategies, and procedures to ensure operation within risk appetite.
- Identifying, tracking, and monitoring of incidents/issues, their impacts and facilitating timely resolution.
- Liaising and collaborating with internal/external business stakeholders and partners to effectively review, monitor and manage the current and emerging risks of the portfolio.
- Protecting our customers by implementing initiatives which improve how risk decisions are made to promote the best customer outcome, including through the design and development of controls.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to manage deliverables across multiple products.
- Triage Change initiatives and provide risk advisory.
We’re interested in hearing from people who have:
- Substantive experience in the operational risk and compliance craft.
- Proven experience in change management and delivering change initiatives.
- The ability to provide pragmatic and practical solutions to complex problems.
- Strong reasoning ability and negotiation and influencing skills, across a range of stakeholder groups.
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills with sound business commercial aptitude and knowledge.
- The ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity, continuous learning and leading and building a positive workplace culture.
- A passion for delivering better customer outcomes, and comfortable working in a fast paced and changing environment.
