We are currently seeking an experienced Hands-On Stores and Procurement Officer to join our Perth Workshop Team, Located in Kwinana Beach.
This Position will be offered on a Full Time Basis.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
- Maintaining stock levels and managing the distribution of the stock to the Workshop and our regional projects
- Arranging direct purchases as requested and approved by the Workshop and our regional projects
- Seeking out alternative providers of materials and parts to minimise lead times and costs to the business
- Maintaining the store in accordance with storekeeping practices and procedures
- Ensuring all materials, supplies, tools and equipment are requisitioned, received, examined and recorded
- Conducting stocktakes regularly to manage and maintain sufficient store supply levels
- Maintaining equipment asset list
- Day to day running of the Stores Department in the Kwinana Workshop
- Loading/unloading trucks in the Kwinana Workshop
- Coordinate external local and regional freight
- Local freight collection as required
ABOUT YOU:
- High attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Current Manual Drivers Licence – HR Desirable
- Current Forklift Ticket – Essential
- Dogging and/or riggers ticket – desirable
- Current Test & Tagging qualification – desirable
- Construction Card (Blue/White Card) - Essential
- Previous experience in purchasing and logistics in a civil construction and/or maintenance environment
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Computer Skills and Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
- Able to complete and pass a thorough pre-employment medical and DAS
- Committed to safety, problem solving and working as part of a Team
