As the Business Development Manager, you’ll be the trusted partner to our SME accounts, ensuring retention and growth across WA. You’ll manage key customer relationships, identify new opportunities, and promote ORIX’s cutting-edge rental, mobility, and fleet solutions. This role offers a mix of strategic planning, client engagement, and commercial growth.
INCLUDED IN WHAT YOU'LL DO:- Build and nurture relationships with SME customers through regular face-to-face meetings.
- Develop and execute tailored customer plans to maximise the uptake of ORIX products.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer compliance with financial requirements and align with strategic objectives.
- Lead strategic and commercial negotiations, identifying and closing opportunities to grow market share.
- Optimise customer experience through the development of management frameworks to drive growth, retention, and return on assets.
- Stay at the forefront of mobility trends, ensuring ORIX’s offerings are innovative and future-ready.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and deliver monthly reporting to senior leadership.
- Experience in a similar role, ideally in rental, mobility, fleet management, or asset finance.
- Strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and expertise in solutions selling and high-level negotiations.
- In-depth understanding of rental and mobility markets, including financial instruments and risk mitigation.
- Customer-focused, collaborative, and results-driven with a knack for clear communication and value-added decision-making.
