About the Position
The City of Cockburn is seeking a Leading Hand – Civil Infrastructure to assist and manage a team of general hands to carry out a variety of tasks in the maintenance of road, path and drainage as directed. This role ensures high-quality work, compliance with safety regulations, and efficient use of resources. This is an excellent opportunity to join the City's Civil Infrastructure Team and contribute to the improvement of essential infrastructure.
About You
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with expertise in civil infrastructure to step into a Leading Hand role. The ideal candidate will have experience in the construction and maintenance of roads, pathways, and stormwater drainage systems, along with the capability to undertake physical labour. A Heavy Rigid (HR) license, White Card, and Basic traffic management qualifications are essential. Additionally, proficiency with hand tools and minor plant equipment, as well as a strong commitment to Workplace Health and Safety , is required.
Salary: $74,903 to $76,126 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. This position attracts a Leading Hand Allowance.
