Description:
- Maintain WHS policies and procedures tailored to the food production and horticultural sector.
- Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments across the site.
- Provide guidance on compliance with WHS legislation and standards.
- Facilitate training sessions to promote safety awareness among employees.
- Investigate incidents and near-misses, and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with operational teams to ensure seamless integration of safety practices.
- Prepare and deliver detailed WHS reports for management review.
- Maintain accurate records of safety activities and compliance documentation.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will have:
- Proven experience in WHS roles within a food production or manufacturing sector.
- Strong understanding of Australian WHS legislation and practices.
- Excellent communication and training skills to engage with diverse teams.
- Proficiency in record-keeping and preparing detailed compliance reports.
