Description:

  • Maintain WHS policies and procedures tailored to the food production and horticultural sector.
  • Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments across the site.
  • Provide guidance on compliance with WHS legislation and standards.
  • Facilitate training sessions to promote safety awareness among employees.
  • Investigate incidents and near-misses, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with operational teams to ensure seamless integration of safety practices.
  • Prepare and deliver detailed WHS reports for management review.
  • Maintain accurate records of safety activities and compliance documentation.

Requirements:

The successful candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in WHS roles within a food production or manufacturing sector.
  • Strong understanding of Australian WHS legislation and practices.
  • Excellent communication and training skills to engage with diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in record-keeping and preparing detailed compliance reports.
