Robert Half is currently recruiting an upcoming graduate accountant for an established and globally recognised services company based in the Melbourne CBD. This role is an ideal opportunity for a recent accounting graduate with minimal industry exposure looking to join a team that fosters growth and provides hands on training.
Promoting an excellent work culture and likeminded team, this role will suit a candidate who has citizenship or permanent residency and is looking to commit to a company for the foreseeable future
Interpersonal skills will be a driving factor within this role as it required clear communication skills, and ability to foster and build internal and external relationships as well as think clearly in periods of high intensity.
The Role
Reporting to the Accountant, your duties will include:
- Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable
- reconciliations
- Invoicing
- Receipting
- Inbox Management
Your Profile
To be successful you will have proven experience in a similar role, with a minimum of 1 year of experience. The following attributes will also be highly advantageous:
- Confident in processing end-to-end accounts payable and credit control
- Excellent Attention to detail
- ERP or mid-sized accounting software experience
- Excellent Organisational Skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to work in a team or independently
The successful candidate will be immediately available.
Communication, Interpersonal and approachability skills are directly linked to your potential success within this role.
This role is 5 days on site however over time flexibility is given when required.
