We are looking for a results-driven Business Analyst to work on mobile application projects within a large-scale retail environment. You'll collaborate across departments to help define, analyse, and design business solutions that align with customer needs and organisational goals. You’ll be a connector between business stakeholders and technical teams—translating ideas into clear, actionable outcomes.
Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyse and support the delivery of complex projects, with a particular focus on mobile applications.Collaborate cross-functionally across departments like Retail Operations, Supply Chain, and Group Services.Facilitate workshops to identify and break down business problems, gather requirements, and support solution design.Translate business requirements into system and technical specifications.Define and maintain documentation, including user stories, process flows, and UX concepts.Ensure shared understanding of business and technical needs across teams.Contribute to the product delivery lifecycle and help prioritise work based on impact and feasibility.Identify and resolve project issues or bottlenecks, contributing to process improvement initiatives.Support pipeline readiness and backlog planning for upcoming work.Champion quality standards throughout the requirements lifecycle.
Preferred Experience & SkillsMinimum 2+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst in a commercial software environment.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar.Ability to translate complex business needs into technical requirements.Familiarity with mobile application development environments is a plus.Proficiency in creating visual artefacts such as process maps, flows, and wireframes to support shared understanding.
