This Role is for You If ....
- Enjoy building meaningful relationships with medium and small business clients across multiple industries
- Are able to support the partners and seniors with our clients, our team and managing work to be completed
- Are highly proficient in preparation financial statements and tax returns for all entity structures
- Work well in energetic collaborative team environments
- Have the ability to mentor and train our junior accountants and bookkeeping team members
- Would love to be involved in assisting partners and seniors with strategy (tax planning, advisory, QBCC, cashflow, budgets, business due diligence's)
- Looking for a full-time role
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 5 years working in a public practice firm
- Ability to prepare financial statements and tax returns from start to finish unassisted
- Strong technical knowledge desired, e.g. Div 7A, Capital Gains Tax, FBT
- Strong communication skills across verbal and written formats
- Understanding of entity structures, e.g. companies, trusts, partnerships and SMSF's
- Ability to use all accounting softwares, e.g. Xero, MYOB, quickbooks
- Self motivated and ability to manage own workflow
