What the Role Involves

This is a client-facing role where you’ll take ownership of your own portfolio. You’ll be delivering compliance and advisory services directly to clients, while also helping guide and mentor junior staff. There’s room to contribute beyond the numbers too — we value fresh thinking and initiative.

Key responsibilities:

• Preparing and reviewing financial statements, income tax returns and BAS’ for a broad mix of clients

• Advising on tax matters including CGT, Division 7A, business structuring and small business tax concessions

• Providing management reporting, budgets, and cash flow forecasts

• Being the go-to person for your clients — answering questions, offering insights, and helping them grow

• Collaborating with senior team members to deliver integrated advice across tax, compliance and business strategy

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 4 years’ experience in public practice

• CA or CPA qualified (or very close to completion)

• Strong tax and accounting knowledge, and confidence dealing directly with clients

• Someone who communicates clearly, stays curious, and enjoys solving problems

• Experience with Xero cloud-based software

• A team player who brings energy and professionalism to the table
