Join our team as a Team Leader and Office Manager!This is a newly created dual ongoing position within the User Services and Property and Security teams at The Administrative Review Tribunal located in Darwin.
Daily on-site work is required to address specific duties effectively and out of hours contact may be required to manage urgent building issues.
About the opportunity
The duties of the Team Leader element of this role is to provide leadership and direction to an operational team, including coordinating and managing workflows; motivating, coaching and influencing staff; managing performance; and ensuring the services provided to the Tribunals users, members and registrars are effective and efficient.
Team Leaders are an important component of the relevant section's leadership structure and support the executive leaders to deliver high quality services.
The Office Manager duties include managing a diverse number of facility programs ensuring that registry and office environments are fit for purpose and that they meet the aims of the tribunal to provide the public user-friendly services and a safe working environment.

To be successful you will need:
- Well-developed leadership skills with the ability to think strategically, drive change, manage individual workloads, performance and develop capability.to deliver high quality services to users of the Tribunal's services, Members and Registrars.
- Highly developed interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills.
- Strong knowledge of property, risk and asset management best practice.
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- The ability to project manage fit out adjustments and refurbishments and to serve as a contact for outside authorities.
