About Emergency Relief and Support Directorate
The purpose of the Emergency Relief and Support Directorate (ERS) is to reduce the immediate and long-term impact of emergencies on people and communities. Under the WA State Emergency Management arrangements, the Department of Communities (Communities) is the prescribed support organisation responsible for providing and coordinating emergency relief and support services in respect of an emergency arising from any of the 28 hazards prescribed in legislation.
ERS supports the strength and resilience of people and communities by working in partnership to plan and prepare for emergencies and coordinates immediate and long-term support for people in the response and recovery phase of emergencies.
The Opportunity As a Corporate Support Officer – Emergency Relief and Support (ERS), you will be responsible for:
- assisting and supporting of corporate business administration needs in relation to the financial, physical and human resources requirements;
- providing a high-quality service to internal and external clients that is proactive and solution focussed and responsive to customer needs.
