Description:

D & M Waste Management conducts bulk verge collections for a number of Local Government Authorities around WA, have helped innovate on-demand verge collections for the local market and are looking to expand into the plastic recycling industry. As a member of the TCD Group, we are a tight knit unit who are part of a much larger family, operating within the civil construction and mining industries.

We are looking for a Customer Service Officer to be the primary connection between our Customers and our Booking Management System. This role is to be based out of our Kwinana head office and can be offered on a Hybrid working arrangement for the right person. The preferred working hours for this role are 9.00am - 2.00pm, Monday through Friday.

Reporting directly to the Operations Supervisor, your duties will include:

  • Liaising with clients and residents via phone and e-mail

  • Managing all stages of the booking process including making and amending customer bookings, as well as handling all enquiries associated with bookings

  • Providing administrative support to the team as required

  • Booking system management and maintenance

  • Liaising with council customer service teams

To be considered for this role, the following skills and experience are essential:

  • High level of interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

  • Strong dispute resolution skills

  • CRM/Database management

  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

  • Strong communication skills – both written and verbal

  • Proactive and team player

  • Strong time management and problem-solving ability

  • Sound knowledge of the Office 365 Suite

  • Flexible and adaptable

  • Minimum of 1-2 years experience in a customer facing role, preferably in an administrative environment

This role could also suit someone with limited experience who is motivated, organised and has a willingness to learn. Full training will be provided.
