Join Our Team at Peace Kindergarten Cairns!Peace Kindergarten Cairns is thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Diploma or Certificate III Qualified Educator to join our brand-new, purpose-built Kindergarten on a casual basis . This permanent role will see you working in our newly constructed, state-of-the-art facility, featuring three thoughtfully designed rooms nestled within lush, tropical-shaded grounds.

Your ResponsibilitiesAs a Qualified Educator at Peace Kindergarten, you will:

Actively supervise and engage children in a range of activities—both indoor and outdoor—that stimulate learning and promote wellbeing.

Create a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment where children can play, explore, and develop new skills.

Deliver programs that are tailored to the varying ages, interests, and abilities of the children in care, in line with the National Quality Framework.

Foster positive, respectful relationships with children, families, and the wider school community.

Work collaboratively with the team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.

Help keep our space sparkling and safe by pitching in with light cleaning tasks.
To succeed in this role, you will need:

A Diploma in Children’s Services (or working towards completion) or Certificate III Early Childhood Education and Care.

Kindergarten Experience (preferred).

Strong knowledge of the National Quality Standards and the National Framework.

A current Blue Card and certifications in First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proven ability to build positive, respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.

A genuine passion for supporting children’s growth and development.
-
A willingness to work within the Christian ethos of the service.

Food Handling experience (desired but not essential).
