A vacancy exists to join the Statewide Services team providing dynamic administrative support to the specialised equipment and loan trial portfolio. In this role you will coordinate the Statewide Students with Disability Equipment Loan and Trial Service for the loan of a range of specialised equipment to schools including the planning and logistics of equipment transportation, including the coordination of maintenance, servicing and repairs of equipment around that state.
The position is located at Mount Ommaney Special School.
This temporary vacancy is open to Expressions of Interest and any extensions to this appointment will not exceed 12 months.

Welcome to the Mount Ommaney Special School Community, commonly referred to as “MOSS”. Our school was first opened in 1992.
Mount Ommaney Special School provides educational programs for students aged between 5-18 years who meet the criteria for special school enrolment.
About the Role
Responsibilities include:
- Design and implement a loan circulation process which enables fair and equitable distribution of specialised equipment for loan to schools across the State.
- Develop, review and maintain manuals and other documentation for the operation of the Statewide Equipment Loan and Trial Service for regional and central loans collection services.
- Research and undertake data analysis of loan service activity for the preparation of management-level reports, submissions and correspondence including Ministerials.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentary record of loan processes and purchases including all communications and decisions undertaken ensuring an audit trail is maintained and documented for probity, accountability and audit purposes.
- The coordination of statewide purchasing of new equipment on advice from the statewide loans representatives is a key element of this role and requires teamwork with the host school administrative team.
