Maintenance Fitter
As a key member of the Engineering Team, the Maintenance Fitter will provide hands-on technical support within the Cold End section of our facility, where finished glass containers are inspected for quality. Using advanced sensors, cameras, and image-processing software, defective containers are automatically identified and rejected.
In this day shift role (Monday to Friday) , with regular opportunities for overtime, you'll apply your trade skills to support, maintain, and improve highly automated equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain, fault-find, and repair:
- Computerised inspection machines
- Conveyor systems
- Packaging machinery including palletisers
- Power transmission systems
- Pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Other specialised equipment as directed
- Perform planned job changes and setups
- Identify and participate in continuous improvement initiatives
- Conduct preventive maintenance activities
- Complete project and upgrade work as required
What We're Looking For
- Trade qualified Maintenance Fitter
- Previous experience fault-finding automated machinery
- Strong mechanical problem-solving ability
- Proven attention to detail and safety
- Ability to adapt and manage changing priorities
- Strong communication skills and a 'can-do' attitude
- Able to work effectively both independently and within a team
