Job Summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Retail Sales Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be capable of working independently, showcasing strong organisational and communication skills. The Retail Sales Assistant will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, handling sales transactions, and maintaining an inviting and organized store environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries and purchases.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the store's point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Monitor inventory levels and restock shelves as needed, ensuring products are properly labeled and priced.
- Perform opening and closing duties as required.
- Support the store manager and team with various tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using POS systems and basic computer applications.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
Job Type: Casual
Pay: From $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 38 per week
