Job DescriptionOur Client Our client is looking for an experienced Marketing, Communications and Community Engagement Manager to join them on a permanent basis. Your
New Role The client is seeking a dynamic Marketing, Communications and Community Engagement Manager to lead strategic campaigns, manage public relations, grow community connections, and enhance experiences. In this diverse and fast-paced role, you'll work closely with the GM Marketing and Communications and other key stakeholders to develop and deliver strategic marketing plans to meet business objectives.
Your new role Design, deliver, develop, and measure marketing strategies and campaigns. Ensure alignment with brand guidelines and business KPIs.
Act as the second point of contact for corporate, media, and public relations interests. Draft media releases, develop relationships with key journalists and presenters, pitch story angles, and manage media enquiries and emerging news. Manage all event marketing and promotions.
Ensure clear planning and prioritisation, supported by documented project scopes, timelines, and responsibilities. Oversee the identification, appointment, and management of specialist agencies, freelancers and stakeholders. Monitor the performance of campaigns and initiatives, applying insights for ongoing improvement.
Collaborate with colleagues across the department and events team to ensure a consistent brand experience across all customer touchpoints. Apply data insights to create innovative and compelling content that drives awareness, engagement, loyalty, and advocacy. Coordinate sponsor involvement and third-party associations across all marketing collateral and activations.
Scope target communities for engagement to drive awareness and commercial return. Manage the marketing and communications budget. Requirements
Hold a tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, events or similar (desirable) Demonstrate strong marketing and brand management knowledge Have a proven record in partnerships and community development
Possess corporate communications/media relations expertise Be skilled in project management and team leadership Communicate effectively and build strong relationships
Leverage digital and social media to drive engagement Have experience in sectors such as tourism, hospitality, retail, entertainment or events Be proficient in data analytics and marketing tools, including CMS, Adobe Creative Suite, and HubSpot
